        "Weeding out the old, so as to catch up with the world’s

changes." A troop of senior professional  attorneys, who had

being in practice of the intellectual property rights (IPR) for

more than ten years, observed the crisis in the competitiveness

of Taiwan industries. They found that, in this variable global

market, being diligent in doing the research and development

or working hard would be no more the absolute guarantee of

successful living. Therefore, they started to think over what 

their self-image was.

        In 2005, those senior attorneys resolutely reorganized the

Kaohsiung Office of Long River International Patent,

Trademark and Law Office into Yangtze Intellectual Property

Solutions. Besides manifesting the determination of reformation and service localization, the

more important thing was to break the traditional ideas that people always think the business

office provides only the general escrow services. We sincerely hope to provide the clients the

multiple services.

        In order to carry out the ideal of “sharing”, in January 2004, we tried hard to pass through

. the strict examination and competition and obtained the garrisoned qualification in The Small

and Medium Enterprise Administration (SMEA) Incubator at Tainan Science Park. As a

consequence, we could not only provide a more sophisticated service to the clients in southern

Taiwan and the Southern Taiwan Science Park (STSP), but also know better the problems in IPR

of the clients. In the same year, we were invited to give a circuit of the lecture courses on IPR in

the colleges and universities of southern Taiwan to assist the Center for Industry-Academia

Collaboration (CIAC) in popularizing the concept of IPR. The major purpose was to act as a

responsible partner for the Small and Medium Enterprises during the transformation of

enterprises

        Before long, we founded the Yangtze Intellectual Property Co., Ltd. in the beginning of the

year 2006 and started the service in “industrial vertical integration”. In addition to offering the .

general IP service, we also formulated the more cost-effective business strategies for our clients

through the valuable information provided by the powerful authoritative platform of Industry-

Academia incubation to combine with the cross-industries, so as to increase the competitiveness

of the Small and Medium Enterprises. People always highly praise the large enterprises,

        As an IPR adviser, we hope that we could offer our clients the custom-made service by
